Summary
The girls traveled to Fort Wayne to battle against South Side Thunder for their second game on the day. The girls started slow to the game but were able to hold off the South Side attempts on goal, entering halftime at 0-0. The second half had more action as both teams started to lose shape and create more opportunities. The Thunder scored first after a melee in front of the goal resulting in a Navigator own goal, but shortly after, Aliyah Hendrickson finished a shot from inside from close range, finding the back the of net! In spite of more Thunder attacking opportunities, the Navigators held them off and secured the tie 1-1 to finish the game.
